We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our team in overseeing the daily functions of warehouse personnel. This role involves managing the reception, storage, and distribution of materials in a cost-effective, timely, and precise manner. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be pivotal in driving enhancements within a high-volume, fast-paced, and lean manufacturing setting. This position requires daily collaboration with department leaders across Operations, Quality, Human Resources, Finance, Manufacturing Engineering, and Continuous Improvement.

This role will be conducted on-site and will involve a second shift schedule. It is classified as safety-sensitive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve operational goals by contributing warehouse operations insights and recommendations to strategic planning and evaluations.
  • Meet financial objectives by forecasting needs, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective measures.
  • Develop and refine warehouse operational systems by assessing product handling and storage needs, and establishing processes for receiving, inventory management, and shipping.
  • Continuously develop, implement, enforce, and assess policies and procedures.
  • Design warehouse layouts by planning product flow and handling systems, while evaluating and recommending new equipment.
  • Enhance warehouse operations by analyzing workflow, staffing, space requirements, and equipment layout, and implementing necessary changes.
  • Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and executing new design layouts, inspecting equipment, and managing repair and replacement requisitions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred; a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in integrated manufacturing functions is essential.
  • Familiarity with rate-based or flow line (non-MRP) and job shop manufacturing environments is necessary.
  • Proficiency in operations, inventory management, visual management systems, Microsoft Office, inventory control/shipping software, MRP, and lean manufacturing methodologies.
  • Strong data analysis skills and intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency are required.

What We Offer:

  • Benefits commence on the first day of employment.
  • 6% 401K match, along with an additional 2% of eligible pay in core contributions.
  • Three weeks of vacation annually, in addition to paid holidays.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range: $70,000 - $85,000 annually. Please note that this range may vary based on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, and specific job requirements.
