Job Summary

Adecco is seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team in a corrections facility. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, testing, and other tasks on all plumbing systems and components of the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems, including drains, sprinkler, sewage, and steam systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections on plumbing systems and components, including backflows, fire hydrants, fire pumps, water heaters, and other pressure vessels.
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on natural gas supply and distribution lines, or other fuel source systems.
  • Coordinate with outside contractors for contract work on associated systems.
  • Assist other trades as needed.
  • Respond to on-call emergency repair work, including after-hours on-site response.
  • Complete corrective and preventive maintenance work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain logs per ACA requirements as applicable.
Requirements
  • Thorough knowledge of the methods of installation and repair of plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of safety precautions of the plumbing trade, skill in the use of tools, materials, and equipment used in the performance of plumbing work.
  • Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics for associated systems.
  • Understanding and adherence to all applicable Safety Data Sheets (SDS) procedures.
  • Understanding and adherence to all Lock Out Tag Out procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing in applicable trade and jurisdiction preferred.
Additional Information
  • Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with potential for overtime, holiday, or weekend work as needed.
  • No travel required.
