Heritage Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at El Monte Sagrado Resort & Spa in Taos, NM. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving custom crafted cocktails and signature drinks to our guests in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of the Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager to ensure seamless service.
  • Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers and guests.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards at all times.
  • Deliver refined and seamless service to our guests.
  • Greet and welcome guests at the bar or in the bar area.
  • Check identification to ensure minimum age requirements are met for consumption of alcoholic beverages.
  • Notify a manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated.

Requirements:

  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
  • Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 20+ pounds frequently.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
