Job Summary:

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and professional Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy to students, helping them achieve their communication goals and enhance their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation and Assessment: Perform thorough evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Create and implement IEPs to address specific communication needs, working closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support and monitor student progress.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Deliver direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, using evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Record Keeping and Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, tracking progress and adjusting plans as needed to ensure students meet their communication goals.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide expert recommendations and insights based on evaluations, ensuring a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology, applying this knowledge to improve student outcomes and enhance professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure: Current license in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the Arizona Board of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.
  • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Certification (or Eligibility): Arizona Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist Certification (or eligibility for certification).
  • Experience: Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
