Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Alsum Farms & Produce Inc. in Friesland, WI. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move perishable produce to designated areas. This is a full-time position requiring a high school diploma or equivalent and prior forklift experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner to ensure product is moved to the correct location
  • Regularly inspect forklift equipment and notify maintenance of any issues
  • Maintain awareness of possible hazards and take necessary precautions
  • Stay up-to-date on training requirements and forklift operating procedures
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Forklift experience preferred, certification will be required
  • Valid state motor vehicle license with an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to utilize Human Resource Information System (HRIS) software
