Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Build strong relationships with customers, provide personalized framing solutions, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Framing Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in framing techniques, materials, and products to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-merchandised store environment, including the framing department and other assigned areas.
  • Inventory Management: Participate in inventory management processes, including receiving and stocking merchandise, to ensure accurate and efficient inventory levels.
  • Cash Handling: Operate cash registers and execute cash handling procedures to maintain accuracy and security.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and production goals, and support a positive and inclusive store culture.
Requirements
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills and ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutters.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to regularly bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch, as well as move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Retail Experience: Previous retail experience, particularly in a customer-facing role.
  • Sales and Service Skills: Ability to sell products and services to customers, and provide exceptional customer service.
Work Environment

Our store is a public retail setting with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and outdoor work may be required for tasks such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The framing department contains glass cutters and heat presses, and work hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
