The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program and 0-2 years of experience in the practice or program area. A valid Driver's License is also required upon hire.
Job SummaryThis role provides quality care that is appropriate, efficient, and effective patient care meeting the patient's requirements for physical therapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing each patient, gathering data, making clinical judgments, and involving patients and families in establishing goals of treatment.
You will design, implement, and modify therapeutic interventions, coordinate, communicate, document, and bill per program, regulatory, and professional standards. Additionally, you will accommodate selection of tests and measures and therapeutic interventions to the age of the patient or client, make referrals to other practitioners as appropriate, and select and delegate appropriate tasks of the plan of care per professional guidelines.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Providing therapy to patients
- Participating in performance improvement and process improvement activities for the department
- Other duties as assigned by management
To be considered for this role, you must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- 0-2 years of experience in the practice or program area
- Licensed Physical Therapist - MN State Board of Physical Therapy (if providing services in Minnesota)
- Licensed Physical Therapist - WI Dept of Safety & Professional Services (if providing services in Wisconsin)
- BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource within 60 days
- Valid Driver's License upon hire
The estimated salary for this role is $62,000-$90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, you will also receive benefits such as student loan support, health insurance, and retirement plans.
