We are seeking an experienced Artisan Baker to join our team at Tartine Bakery in Los Angeles. This is a full-time position that requires a passion for bread-making and excellent communication skills.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in professional bread baking and be able to work effectively in a team-driven environment. Key responsibilities include mixing dough, managing fermentation, scaling and shaping, and baking high-quality bread products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and uphold the mission and values of Tartine Bakery
- Demonstrate expertise in bread-making techniques and ingredients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in professional bread baking
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent basic mathematical skills
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
- Valid Food Handlers Certificate
