Job Description

Goshen Community Schools is seeking a Driver Trainer to join our transportation team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting students safely to and from school while adhering to our strict safety protocols and regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Operate a school bus along prescribed routes, ensuring timely pick-ups and drop-offs at designated stops.
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of assigned vehicles, reporting any mechanical issues or needed repairs.
  • Maintain order and discipline among student passengers in accordance with GCS policies.
  • Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date on Indiana Motor Vehicle Code and Education Code requirements.
Required Qualifications
  • Certified Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with valid passenger endorsement.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a safe driving record.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $51,200, based on a standard schedule and an estimated 40 hours worked per week.
