Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at ReVive Orthopedic Spine & Sports Medicine. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our orthopedic patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough interviews with patients to determine medical problems and conditions, and document all findings in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Medical Support: Assist physicians with examinations and treatments, and obtain and record patient vital signs and weight.
  • Administrative Tasks: Schedule diagnostic studies and surgeries, order x-rays, and prepare injections and other medical treatments.
  • Communication and Liaison: Serve as a liaison between patients and physicians, and provide staff coverage for other clinical personnel as needed.
  • Quality Control: Monitor biohazardous waste and prepare for disposal, and review medical treatment with patients as instructed by providers.
  • Marketing and Outreach: Participate in up to 10 hours of marketing activities per week, visiting referral sources as needed.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Complete applications for handicap parking permits, FMLA, and other necessary documents, and assist with scheduling and maintaining the surgery schedule.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED required; one to three years of related experience in the medical field preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: LPN license required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or other relevant certifications preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and technologies.
