Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a collaborative team comprising both industry professionals and government personnel to advance the development of AN/BYG-1 subsystems.
  • Oversee the coordination of software deliveries and testing in collaboration with other Acquisition Resource Managers.
  • Ensure that software production timelines are synchronized with Fleet Modernization schedules.
  • Make strategic decisions and formulate policies that bolster program leadership.
  • Plan, develop, assess, and execute technical initiatives.
  • Delegate work assignments, establish priorities, and guarantee the timely completion of tasks.
  • Assess employee performance and propose incentives for outstanding contributions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to address complex engineering challenges.

Essential Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.
  • Must fulfill suitability requirements for federal employment.
  • Participation in the direct deposit pay program is required.
  • Must obtain and maintain a security clearance.
  • Completion of ethics orientation and submission of necessary reports is required.
  • Certification in Acquisition Functional Area is essential.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening is necessary.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations may be required.
