Role Responsibilities:
In this position, you will be responsible for the meticulous review and finalization of commercial loans, specifically targeting Middle Market Clients. Your key duties will include:
- Conducting thorough loan documentation reviews and managing the closing process for commercial real estate and business loans.
- Collaborating directly with relationship managers, borrowers, legal representatives, title companies, insurance providers, and other stakeholders to ensure all closing requirements are fulfilled.
- Assessing and interpreting moderately complex loan documents, ensuring alignment with credit approvals and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Documenting any necessary waivers or deviations from established policies.
- Coordinating with legal counsel to ensure loan documents meet all bank requirements.
- Engaging with clients to gather, review, and distribute essential due diligence items for successful loan closings.
- Maintaining accurate communication regarding any missing items or required corrections, ensuring all parties are informed.
- Verifying that budget and escrow closing statements are balanced, with all fees and expenses accounted for.
- Obtaining necessary approvals and documenting exceptions as required.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A High School diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience in loan documentation or closing, preferably in Commercial, CRE, or Business lending.
- Experience in reading and interpreting loan and legal documents.
- Proficient knowledge of loan documentation processes, particularly in commercial lending.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency in various software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Compensation:
This position offers a competitive base salary, with the potential for quarterly performance-based incentives.
