Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Supervise all front and back office staff, conduct staff meetings, and act as a liaison between support staff and physicians.
- Staff Management: Conduct all aspects of practice staff employment, including interviewing, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and maintaining accurate employee files.
- Customer Service: Demonstrate a positive customer service attitude and behavior, reacting in a timely manner to resolve patient complaints and/or employee conflict.
- Program Management and Daily Operations: Maintain the authority to purchase daily operational supplies, maintain inventory control, and prepare operational, manpower, and capital budgets.
- Financial Management: Adhere to financial and operational budget, maintain thorough working knowledge of CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding, and oversee billing and collection functions.
- Performance Improvement and Quality: Ensure compliance with insurance policies and procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and COLA standards, and maintain and update OSHA, CLIA, and COLA to ensure compliance.
- 3 years' experience in healthcare operations support, including 2 years of management experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2 years of management experience.
- High school or equivalent.
