Position Title: Security Operations Officer - Evening and Night Shifts

Overview: The Security Operations Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of all individuals and assets within the Dallas Market Center premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguard the Dallas Market Center, its personnel, exhibitors, and visitors, while responding effectively to emergencies and providing First Aid, CPR, and/or AED assistance as required.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the property, both on foot and via security vehicles, to deter criminal activity and enforce parking regulations.
  • Verify the authorization of all individuals on the premises, particularly in sensitive areas, and address any unauthorized access appropriately.
  • Document all incidents and accidents accurately to maintain comprehensive records for the organization.
  • Manage parking configurations for special events and markets, utilizing traffic control equipment and signage, while ensuring courteous vehicular traffic management.
  • Execute Dispatch responsibilities, including processing keys, monitoring CCTV and access control systems, and responding to communications.
  • Perform Front Desk duties as per established Security Operations protocols.

Work Schedule: Evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and overnight shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service, security, or military roles.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a commissioned security officer license in accordance with Texas DPS regulations.

Additional Duties: Other related responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.
