As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping clients navigate life's challenges and achieve their therapeutic goals. You will conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to address a wide range of mental health concerns.
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Facilitate therapeutic sessions, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
- Collaborate with clients to set realistic goals and monitor progress throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical guidelines and legal requirements.
- Refer clients to specialists or other resources as needed to ensure comprehensive care.
- Active license as a Mental Health Therapist in New Jersey.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, families, and/or groups.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and client confidentiality.
