Nurse Lead Practitioner

At Lancaster General Health, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Lead Practitioner to join our team. This is a part-time position, requiring 28 hours of work per week, with rotating evenings and Saturdays.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing services to patients at our Twin Rose Family Medicine office, located in Columbia and Wrightsville. As a Lead Practitioner, you will serve as a subject matter expert and resource for all clinical staff, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serves as a subject matter expert and resource for all clinical staff.
- Provides clinical advice by phone/electronic correspondence based on clinical judgments and/or triage protocols.
- Provides patient-specific education, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute diagnosis, medications, and other areas pertinent to patient outcomes.
- Greets and shows patients to the exam room, prepares them for visits with providers.
- Verifies patient information, documents medical and social history, and purpose of visit in the patient chart.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.
- Two (2) to three (3) years of nursing experience in a primary or specialty care physician's office.
- AHA CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
