Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Interpreter for the Deaf to join our team, responsible for facilitating communication between deaf students and their educators. This position requires proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and the ability to convey complex ideas with precision.

Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate effective communication between deaf students and their educators
  • Convey complex ideas and concepts through ASL with precision and accuracy
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions


Requirements:
Possession of a secondary school diploma or equivalent, combined with one of the following:
  1. completion of at least two years of study (minimum 48 semester hours) at an institution of higher education;
  2. possession of an associate degree or higher;
  3. passing a rigorous assessment demonstrating your knowledge and ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics at a level meeting State and Federal requirements.
