Engineering Solutions is a reputable firm dedicated to innovative commercial projects and bespoke residential design. We are seeking a qualified individual to become part of our team as a Senior Engineer on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate should possess expertise in the following areas:

  • Conducting Structural Investigations
  • Performing Threshold Inspections and Design
  • Executing Concrete Restoration
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software such as RAM and ETABS is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Revit Structure is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out field inspections and initial site assessments to evaluate structural integrity and project specifications.
  • Perform thorough inspections covering foundations, framing, and final construction phases.
  • Develop clear, precise, and code-compliant structural designs and documentation for building and home projects.
  • Gain familiarity with company projects and internal processes, including understanding the scope of work, performing calculations and analyses for design, and delegating tasks to the drafting team.
  • Assist in mentoring new engineers on design principles and establish training protocols for new engineers/interns.
  • Review milestone and recertification reports for junior engineers, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct internal team backchecks on calculations, redlines, and drawings to ensure quality, content, and detail accuracy.

Requirements for Consideration:

  • 5+ years of experience in a Structural Engineering capacity.
  • 3+ years of recent experience in Residential Design.
  • Experience in Commercial and/or multi-family design is essential.
  • Willingness to travel for Inspections and Site Condition Assessments.
  • Current PE License in Florida (additional licenses in other states are a plus).
  • Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
