Job Overview

This is a long-term position for a Cable Network Maintenance Specialist, with a duration of approximately 2 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience in coax splicing on live plant and be able to work within a team environment to ensure job completion within scheduled timeframes.

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $42-76 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

A monthly per diem of $1500, quarterly production bonuses ranging from $3k to $6k, paid travel, and paid living arrangements are also included in the package.

Key Responsibilities
  • Splicing and activation, including setting up and balancing electronics to specifications.
  • Work within a team environment to ensure job scope completion within scheduled timeframes.
  • Providing training to new hires on live plant operations and monitoring their progress.
  • Daily maintenance of provided vehicles, including checking fluids, cleaning, and organizing.
  • Safely operating bucket trucks and completing construction assignments as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Ability to complete mechanical tasks such as coax splicing, reading meters (volt, RF, and Fiber), conducting tests, and performing troubleshooting measures.
  • Experience with computer-based programs required for electronic equipment installation and verification.
  • Ability to work in all-weather climates and at varying heights, including bucket trucks (max 40'), ground level, and underground vaults.
  • Able to lift 50-100lbs and perform fine manipulation on cable and electronic equipment.
