Position Overview

The role involves executing a comprehensive array of nuclear medicine tasks that necessitate a superior level of expertise and proficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating training and orientation for both senior and junior nuclear medicine technologists within the unit.
  • Conducting a diverse range of nuclear medicine procedures, which encompass nuclear cardiology, clinical imaging, gastrointestinal imaging, thyroid imaging, and SPECT imaging under supervision.
  • Executing quality control measures for pharmaceuticals and instruments.
  • Maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Acting as a knowledgeable resource for staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Job Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Essential)
  • Non-Degree Program: Graduate of an AMA accredited Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program (Essential)
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Nuclear Medicine (Essential)
  • Supervisory Experience: General experience in overseeing others (Desirable)
Work Schedule

Hours: 8 AM to 4:30 PM
