Job SummaryThis is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a strong foundation in critical care nursing, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient-centered care. As a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner, you will work closely with our experienced medical team to provide comprehensive care to patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' needs and develop individualized plans of care based on their unique requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Implement evidence-based practices to improve patient safety and satisfaction.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with family members and caregivers.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Med Surg / Telemetry unit in a major acute care hospital setting.
- A strong background in critical care nursing and a solid understanding of patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and populations.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices.
Candidates with a Master's degree in Nursing or related field, BSN, and certifications such as NIHSS, Telemetry, and BLS-AHA may be preferred.
