Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist to join our team at a 180-bed medical center in upstate New York. As a Medical Laboratory Technician/Medical Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing laboratory tests and analyzing results.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform laboratory tests and analyze results to determine the presence or absence of disease
  • Collect and prepare specimens for testing
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of test results
  • Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment of patients

Requirements:

  • MT/MLS: Bachelor's degree in science and MLS(ASCP) certification or equivalent
  • MLT: Associates degree in science and MLT(ASCP) certification or equivalent
  • Generalist experience
  • New York CLT license
