Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team at Capital Health. The ideal candidate will have expertise in treating complex orthopedic trauma patients, including those with pelvic fractures, complex intra-articular fractures, and bone defect surgery.

The successful candidate will provide advanced care to patients with complex orthopedic pathologies, consistent with the standards of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. They will also be responsible for providing orthopedic coverage in the Bristol-Myer Squibb Trauma Center and the General Emergency Department at Capital Health Regional Medical Center.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthopedic traumatology, with experience in treating complex fractures and orthopedic trauma patients. They will also be able to work effectively with other members of the inter-professional team to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide surgical and non-surgical care to complex orthopedic trauma patients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex orthopedic pathologies
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in the development of quality metrics and programs
  • Comply with all institution policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
  • Experience in treating complex orthopedic trauma patients
  • Strong background in orthopedic traumatology
  • Ability to work effectively with other healthcare professionals
