Responsibilities- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and educating patients and families on health and wellness.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement evidence-based care plans, ensuring seamless transitions of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of best practices and policies.
- Document patient care and outcomes, maintaining accurate and timely records.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio.
- BSN degree or higher (MSN or DNP preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in adult cardiac care or emergency department nursing.
- ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
- Certification in area of clinical specialty (within 5 years of eligibility).
- Membership in professional organizations (e.g., American Association of Critical-Care Nurses).
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technologies.
