Assembly Technician

About the Job: As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for building and assembling truck bodies, using a variety of tools and equipment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, following instructions and blueprints to ensure quality and accuracy. Our ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, with strong math and computer skills, as well as the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and work in a confined space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions.
- Cut wood or metals to specific sizes using various saws, shears, and cutters.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners.
- Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools.
- Perform setup and preventative maintenance as required.
- Examine finished projects for quality and defects.
