Labor and Delivery Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to women during the labor and delivery process.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor patients throughout labor and provide emotional support
  • Assist physicians with epidurals, pain medications, and other medical procedures
  • Perform tasks such as checking the cervix, cleaning up bodily fluids, and aiding with deliveries
  • Provide immediate care to newborns
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and maintain good coping skills
Requirements:
  • BLS, NRP, EFM certifications
  • 3 years of recent acute care experience
