Flexographic Press Technician

Job Description:

At Core Personnel, we are seeking a highly skilled Flex-O Press Operator to join our team. As a Flex-O Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining flexographic printing presses to ensure efficient production of high-quality printed materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Press Setup & Operation:
  
  • 
    
  • Set up and operate flexographic printing presses according to job specifications.
    
  • Adjust press settings for ink, color, and material alignment to ensure optimal quality.
    
  • Perform routine checks on press operation, resolving issues as they arise.
    
  
  
  
• Quality Control:
  
  • 
    
  • Monitor the production process to ensure consistency and quality of printed materials.
    
  • Conduct regular quality inspections and make necessary adjustments to maintain high standards.
    
  • Troubleshoot printing issues, such as color alignment and print quality problems.
    
  
  
  
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
  
  • 
    
  • Perform routine press maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of machinery.
    
  • Troubleshoot mechanical problems and work with maintenance personnel to resolve more complex issues.
    
  • Ensure all press equipment is in proper working condition and complies with safety standards.
    
  
  
  
• Record Keeping & Reporting:
  
  • 
    
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, including material usage and output.
    
  • Report any production or quality issues to the supervisor in a timely manner.
    
  
  
  
• Safety & Compliance:

  • Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines.
    
  • Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
    
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating flexographic presses or similar printing equipment.
    
  
  
  
• Skills:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
    
  • Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
    
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve printing issues.
