Joining our Surgical Technologist team offers a unique opportunity to thrive within our esteemed Healthcare System. Our facilities encompass a variety of specialized centers, providing you with the chance to make a meaningful impact across different shifts. As a Surgical Technologist, you will be integral in maintaining our high standards of care and supporting our commitment to healing the mind, body, and spirit of our patients.Be part of our exceptional services at our advanced facilities, where you will contribute to a Level I Trauma Center, a state-of-the-art Cancer Institute, a Magnet Recognized Children's Hospital, and facilities renowned for their excellence in Robotic, Orthopedic, and Bariatric care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
- Support the decontamination, preparation, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Provide instruments to the physician during surgical procedures while ensuring accurate tracking of instruments and supplies.
- Prepare the surgical operating suite with necessary drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Ensure all equipment and instruments are in optimal working condition.
- Assist nursing staff with patient care as needed.

Education and Certification:
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (Required)
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or equivalent
Additional Information:
This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is not mandatory, but certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred. Graduates from accredited programs are encouraged to apply.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent bending, stooping, and lifting of patients weighing 35 pounds or more.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements and stand for extended periods.
- Exposure to various physical and biological hazards in a clinical setting.
