- Education and Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- National certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Experience
- Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This position requires the ability to work in a clinical setting, including exposure to potentially violent or irate patients. The employee must also be able to utilize universal precautions in clinical or exposure situations as prescribed by federal, state, and local guidelines and laws.
