Key Responsibilities- Client Communication: Provide face-to-face, phone, and email communication with clients to ensure their needs are met and their pets receive the best possible care.
- Front Desk Operations: Greet clients, check patients in and out, and maintain a clean and welcoming lobby area.
- Scheduling and Coordination: Schedule appointments and procedures, coordinate communication between medical and client service teams, and navigate large volumes of phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Administrative Tasks: Process payments, finalize end-of-day cash drawers, create medical record entries, and email medical records as needed.
- Pharmacy and Supply Management: Fill and double-check prescription medications and supplements, examine and restock pharmacy and document holdings, and communicate with clients regarding pick-up and delivery of retail items and prescriptions.
- Emergency Response: Triage phone calls and emails for emergencies and non-urgent cases, and communicate with clients in a clear and effective manner.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Provide clear and effective written and verbal communication, sometimes for sensitive or emotional subjects.
- Interpersonal Conflict Resolution: Demonstrate superb interpersonal conflict resolution skills to ensure positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Basic Computer and Phone Skills: Possess basic computer and phone skills to navigate our systems and communicate with clients.
- Physical Demands: Lift items weighing up to 20lbs, stand and/or sit for long periods, and be prepared for possible exposure to animal bites and/or interspecies communicable diseases.
