Eliot Community Human Services is seeking a highly skilled House Manager to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential care, with experience working with children and adolescents in a therapeutic setting. A proven track record of maintaining effective working relationships with staff, suppliers, and external agencies is also essential. In addition, the ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural groups is crucial in this role.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining on-site records, conducting weekly audits to ensure compliance, planning and preparing well-balanced nutritious meals, and overseeing facility and vehicle maintenance. The successful candidate will also be responsible for teaching food service skills to our residents, participating in Food Bank and Eliot Distribution Center programs, and maintaining certification in Serve Safe and Sanitation Standards.
Key qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalency, three years' related experience working with population preferred, and two years' experience working in a food service environment.
