About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Engineer to join our team at StandardAero. As a key member of our Propulsion Engineering department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our turbine engine products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Liaison: Act as a technical liaison for best practice sharing and OEM communications, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Development: Prepare detailed work instructions for operations personnel outside routine Overhaul & Repair procedures, driving process improvement and efficiency.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical advisement to meet technical requirements, supporting day-to-day production and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Training and Development: Offer process-related training and analyze methods to enhance production quality and efficiency, driving continuous improvement.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide technical advice, produce reports on product serviceability, repair summaries, warranty, and failure analysis, informing business decisions.
  • Process Implementation: Support the implementation of new processes, specify tools and test equipment, and assist in training on overhaul and test methods.
  • Quality Assurance: Utilize statistical analysis for test data trending to maintain product quality and test cell correlation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Facilitate coordination between internal and external Engineering and Operations during new repair and process implementations, driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Repair Development: Develop new repairs from engineering data and contribute to repair trials, analyzing and documenting results.
  • Cost-Benefit Analysis: Propose and perform cost-benefit analyses for new equipment purchases, ensuring informed business decisions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated with state-of-the-art technologies and processes, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Test Cell Maintenance: Support test cell calibration and maintenance, ensuring correlation with industry standards and OEM requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a support role for Turbine Engine Maintenance.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace) from an accredited university.
  • Skills: Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Licenses: Valid FAA A&P license.
