Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with orthopedic and surgical conditions, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current unrestricted Mississippi State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of one year of inpatient clinical experience, preferably in orthopedic or surgical nursing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
