Position Overview


The Transportation Compliance & Asset Coordinator will assist and report to the Transportation Manager, compiling essential metrics for central office and business unit leaders.

Key responsibilities include customer service and data management, primarily from our operational facilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor fines, penalties, inspections, condition reports, on-time performance, hours worked, missed stops, gallons transported, and other critical bulk metrics.
  • Manage IFTA fuel tax reporting, including:
    • Quarterly IFTA reports
    • Quarterly filings for various states
    • Quarterly Comdata reports
    • Quarterly Trip reports
  • Support truck registration processes
  • Oversee rolling stock inventory
  • Compile monthly tractor leasing reports
  • Process onsite fuel operations on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis
  • Manage fuel delivery documentation and invoices
  • Process fuel reports for multiple facilities
  • Handle permit renewals
  • Track hours of service

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a transportation department within the trucking industry, focusing on hazardous material permits, vehicle licensing, and driver ELD systems.
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service, particularly in communication.
  • Experience in scheduling within a fast-paced, client-focused environment in transportation, manufacturing, or related fields.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple offsite locations to gather data and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly.
  • Proficient in operating various office equipment, including personal computers, email, scanners, and specialized business software. Must be skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ELD platforms.
  • High level of professional integrity with experience in handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
