Position Overview

The Environmental Services Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene within a medical facility. This position is essential for ensuring a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff alike.

Key Responsibilities
  • Thorough Cleaning: Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of patient rooms and common areas.
  • Linen Management: Collects and manages used linens efficiently.
  • Floor Care: Dusts, vacuums, and mops floors to uphold cleanliness standards.
  • Surface Maintenance: Cleans window sills, blinds, furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure a pristine environment.
  • Equipment Operation: Utilizes floor buffers and other cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Restroom Sanitation: Cleans bathrooms, empties wastebaskets, and refills soap and towel dispensers.
  • Infection Control: Maintains a sterile environment across all areas of the facility.
Shift Information

Shifts available include:

  • 1st Shift: 7am – 3:30pm - Rate: $15
  • 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm - Rate: $15 plus $1.40 shift differential
  • 3rd Shift: 11pm – 7:30am - Rate: $15 plus $1.90 shift differential

While standard shift hours are preferred, flexibility is available for part-time candidates.

Qualifications

All candidates must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
