Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and track maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion and minimize downtime.
  • Work with equipment manufacturers and maintenance staff to set up preventive maintenance tasks and spare parts inventory.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including procurement and inventory records.
  • Assist in ordering and receiving maintenance-related parts and materials.
  • Track maintenance spending and generate reports for management.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of clerical, production, or general work experience.
  • Certification and/or License may be required during the course of employment.
  • Knowledge of and skill with Microsoft Office suite and company computer systems.
  • Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Able to perform tasks and duties without constant supervision.
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Able to take appropriate steps to find solutions to problems.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
