Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Total Loss Customer Care Specialist to enhance our operations. This role is remote and can be performed from anywhere in the United States, with occasional travel to local facilities required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate new file assignments to establish the most effective procedures for acquiring title documents in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Gather and analyze reports, statements, and records to inform decision-making processes while managing first-level service recovery and critical issue resolution.
  • Ensure all claim-related documents are accurately attached and labeled within the electronic file management system.
  • Respond to all inquiries in line with established accountability standards.
  • Obtain necessary title transfer paperwork to facilitate salvage processing on behalf of vehicle providers.
  • Communicate effectively regarding the receipt of all required documents to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Deliver empathetic and professional service to customers, colleagues, and partners.
  • Exhibit strong prioritization skills by managing daily tasks and balancing new assignments with ongoing responsibilities.
  • Act with urgency to identify, communicate, and secure all documentation needed for vehicle sales preparation.
  • Proactively manage assigned inventory of salvage vehicles to drive successful outcomes using state-specific methods.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of state salvage and title laws for assigned regions and assist internal and external partners with inquiries regarding these regulations.
  • Handle telephone inquiries related to claim status and the total loss title process.
  • Document all key procedures, next steps in the title process, and interactions with customers and partners.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in auto insurance claims handling or title procurement.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred.
  • Experience with vehicle titles and state-specific documentation is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection is required for remote work.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
  • Demonstrated capability to analyze, organize, and prioritize tasks while meeting multiple deadlines.
  • Willingness to work evenings, nights, and/or weekends as necessary.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $15.00 to $20.00 for residents in specific states, based on factors such as education, experience, and certifications.
