Position Overview:

Tact Staff is seeking a dedicated travel nurse specializing in Medical Surgical for an exciting opportunity. The role involves comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, which includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs.

As a travel nurse, you will also guide patient education and oversee the activities of ancillary staff while upholding the highest standards of professional nursing.


Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a valid RN license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification as required by the specific area of responsibility.
  • Previous experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position requiring three 12-hour night shifts per week. You will be expected to work every third weekend and participate in holiday rotations.


Employment Requirements:

Upon acceptance of the position, the following documentation must be provided:

  • Resume and two recent employment references.
  • Verification of licensure or certification, including expiration dates and any disciplinary actions.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • All relevant certifications (e.g., ACLS, TNCC, PALS, NRP).
  • Immunization records, including MMR, Varicella, Polio, Hepatitis B, TDaP, COVID-19 vaccine, and Flu vaccination.
  • Negative 2-step Mantoux test results within the last year.
  • Proof of physical examination within the last year.
  • 10 Panel Drug Screen completed within one month prior to the start date.
  • Criminal background check from all states of licensure and residence within the last seven years.
  • Completion of mandatory education modules.
