Job Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Travel Nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit in Wausau, WI.
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a PCU setting and be able to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • The Travel Nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be comfortable with frequent interactions with patients and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a PCU setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
