Barrel Handler

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute a variety of tasks such as loading and unloading barrels, selecting barrels, repairing barrels, and managing barrel inventory.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of warehouse facilities through dunnage work and sanitation efforts.
• Engage in collaborative work teams and contribute to special projects.
• Ascend multiple levels of the warehouse using stairways.
• Navigate tight spaces and handle barrels that may be stuck, including accessing ricks through narrow openings.

Essential Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to comprehend and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Must be capable of enduring extreme temperatures.
• Physical capability to manage 500-pound barrels, including lifting, bending, working at heights, standing for extended periods, and frequently climbing stairs.
• Ideal candidates will be team-oriented and self-driven.
• Willingness to adhere to hygiene and sanitation standards as outlined by company policies.

This position requires availability for first shift operations.
Compensation starts at $23.00 per hour.

Previous industry experience is advantageous and may influence starting wage.

We are also in search of a forklift operator; prior forklift experience is a plus.
