Advanced Endoscopy Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a talented group of professionals who share a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
About the Role:
- As a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy department, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
- You will also administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects, and provide individualized care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- This is a 36-hour per week position, working 12-hour shifts on day shifts.
Requirements:
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact is required.
- BLS certification is required prior to orientation completion, and ACLS certification must be obtained within the first six months of employment.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
