We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Associate to join our team at WatsonBarron Group. As a Tax Associate, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns for high net worth clients and their business interests.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Compilation of monthly transactions and preparation of monthly financial statements using QuickBooks
  • Preparation of tax returns for high net worth clients and their business interests
  • Building long-term relationships with clients and assisting them with tax needs and business advising
  • Involvement in all aspects of professional service from intake to engagement management
Requirements:
  • BS in Accounting
  • CPA certification or parts passed, with EA designation a plus
  • 3 to 15 years of tax preparation experience
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills
  • Technical skills in MS Office applications and tax software such as Lacerte
