Master Center for Addiction Medicine is a pioneering out-patient medical practice dedicated to helping individuals overcome substance abuse and dependency. We are headquartered in Glen Allen, Virginia, with plans to expand to additional areas of the state.

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) to join our team in Harrisonburg, VA. As a CPRS, you will play a vital role in providing recovery coaching to individual patients and serving as a liaison to the providers and treatment team in our busy, out-patient addiction practice.

About the Role

The CPRS facilitates patient encounters by orienting patients, taking histories, reporting to physicians, and supporting patients in meeting treatment plan and recovery goals. You will coach patients through early recovery and maintain regular contact with patients to support them and collect outcome data.

To be successful in this role, you will need 2 years or more of personal sustained recovery and certification as a Peer Recovery Specialist preferred. For the right candidate, we will provide the required training hours on the job.
