ChristianaCare HomeHealth is seeking Per Diem LPNs to join our team in the Newark, DE, or Kent County areas within our Home Health Private Duty Nursing department. This exciting opportunity offers:

  • Schedule Flexibility to accommodate your needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight care, ensuring the patient's safety and comfort while parents and caregivers rest.
  • Administer medications and other prescribed treatments as ordered by the patient's physician.
  • Coordinate care with the family, patient's physician, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Build positive relationships by serving with compassion, responsiveness, and courtesy.
  • Work flexible schedules, including overnights and weekends.

Requirements:

  • Delaware LPN license with one year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Associates degree or completion of an accredited LPN education program.
  • Work experience in an acute or chronic care facility, or home health agency, is preferred.
  • Previous Home Healthcare and Long Term Care experience is highly valued.
  • Must be able to attend a two-week daytime orientation in our Camden office, followed by patient-specific field orientation on night shift. Also requires a mandatory weekend per month. There is some flexibility in the orientation schedule that can be discussed.
  • Tracheostomy and ventilator experience is a plus.
