The Electrical Panel Assembler plays a crucial role in the production department at Leidos, responsible for assembling or modifying electrical or electronic equipment. Key responsibilities include performing production shop operations, reading and interpreting schematic drawings, and assembling electrical or electronic systems.

Key Functions:

  • Performs production shop operations to support the production department.
  • Reads and interprets schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
  • Assembles electrical or electronic systems or support structures and installs components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings.
  • Adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Explains assembly procedures or techniques to other workers.
  • Drills or taps holes in specified equipment locations to mount control units or provide openings for elements, wiring, or instruments.
  • Confers with lead and/or manager to plan or review work activities or resolve production problems.
  • Inspects or tests wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or operation and records results.
  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 3 to 5 years of electrical assembly experience.
  • PREFERRED: Safety Training.

Pay Range: $42, $76,375.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
