Job Title: Corrugated Industry Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corrugated Industry Manager to join our team at Smurfit Kappa. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process and ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role and excellent leadership skills. They will be able to motivate and inspire their team to achieve exceptional results and provide guidance on improving processes and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning: Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands and company objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of production staff, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all products meet the required standards.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to and that the production environment is safe and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience as a Corrugator Operator or Corrugator Slitter Operator
  • Prior work experience in the corrugated industry, preferred
  • Supervisory experience as a proven manager/lead man of at least 5 people, preferred
  • Able to speak, read, comprehend, and write legibly in English
  • Able to lift 25-50 lbs. on a consistent basis
