Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our team at Bilbro Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day job site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day production and schedule adherence on the project
• Oversee and supervise subcontractors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines
• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Develop and implement effective project schedules, resource allocation plans, and quality control measures
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
• Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 7 years as a superintendent on projects similar in size and complexity
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects, including heavy commercial construction
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct project teams
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and schedules
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite software
