Job Summary:

This role involves assembling wall components, stockpiling lumber, plates, and other materials, and banding/stacking finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

Lay out wall component supplies and materials on carts or floor.
Stock plates for component setup.
Assemble components under the direction of line leaders.
Load and band finished materials on carts/pallets inside and/or outside.
Receive incoming products, commodities, and materials.
Maintain a neat and organized work area.
Assist in setting up component assembly process.
Monitor production workflow process and assist other areas as needed.
Operate equipment necessary to the assembly process.
Comply with established safety rules and regulations.
Participate in maintaining a safe environment.
Assist in maintaining an organized work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Monitor inventory as required by location management.
Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to producing error-free and damage-free results.

Requirements:

High school education and/or equivalent work experience.
Prior carpentry experience helpful.
Ability to read a tape measure and use a hammer.
Ability to learn to operate equipment such as routers, saws, presses, and staple guns.
Exposure to extreme temperatures, lifting up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Able to work in a dusty and noisy environment.
Able to wear ear protection when exposed to noise for an extended period.
Able to wear eye protection and hard sole leather shoes at all times.
Available for overtime as needed.
