About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Editor to join our Atlantic LNG team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collecting and publishing relevant market information, assessing LNG markets in the Atlantic Basin, and contributing to the development of our assessment specifications and methodology.

Responsibilities
  • Report on regional markets, with a focus on the Americas
  • Contribute to market coverage in Atlantic LNG, suggesting changes and evolution of our assessment specifications and methodology
  • Write high-quality news and commentary, aiming to become a thought leader in the Atlantic LNG market
  • Engage with the industry, leading market engagement with market sources in the Americas and collaborating with the Platts Structured Market Engagement (SME) team
The Impact

This role will have a significant impact on our company's ability to provide accurate and timely market information to our customers. You will be working closely with our global team to develop critical news and price assessments that are essential for the daily functioning of global LNG markets.

What We're Looking For
  • Experience in relevant market reporting, analysis, business development, or consultancy background in the Atlantic Basin energy industry
  • Strong mathematical skills, writing skills, and public speaking/presentational skills
  • Ability to perform well with tight deadlines and react quickly to changing market conditions
