Position Overview:
A prominent healthcare facility located in Northwest Pennsylvania is seeking a skilled Trauma and Acute Care Surgeon. This role focuses on trauma surgery, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care within a well-established Level II, 425-bed regional hospital.
Facility Expansion:
With the recent growth of our tertiary hub, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care for acutely ill patients. The upcoming Project 20/20, a seven-story patient tower, will enhance our capacity with 64 intensive care beds, significantly improving our critical care services.
Investment in Care:
This $111 million initiative represents the largest capital project in the hospital's history, aimed at expanding our medical, surgical, cardiovascular, neuro, and trauma critical care capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Completed training in general surgery and surgical critical care or acute care surgery
- Board eligible/certified in surgery and surgical critical care
- Exceptional clinical skills
- Strong dedication to academic surgery and surgical education
Our Service Line:
- Accredited Level II Trauma Center (the only trauma center within a 90-mile radius)
- Multidisciplinary trauma team, including trauma surgeons, orthopaedic and neurosurgeons, interventional radiologists, and cardiovascular surgeons
